Collective Bargaining

By members for members

As a union, we bargain collective agreements for a variety of reasons. We bargain to improve working conditions, increase wages and benefits, and to build respect and fairness in the workplace.

Members, through participation of in the provincial bargaining survey, help shape the priorities for a round of bargaining. Locals also have the opportunity to help shape the priorities for a round of bargaining through participation in Bargaining Seminars 1 and 2.

The MTS provincial bargaining protocol outlines, in detail, the process by which collective bargaining takes place and describes how members participate in the collective bargaining process.

For further information, please consult the MTS Provincial Bargaining Protocol.
